Using dance musics jackin’ past for inspiration, the definitive rappin house anthem for 2007. Piano vamps, screaming sirens & singing robots on drugs. Remixes by Bmore legend DJ Technics & Spank Rock’s XXXChange..
August 2006, New York City: A hyperactive Midwestern 19-year-old and a shape-shifting east
coast studio pro join forces with one goal in mind: the next level. After a week of nonstop work holed
up in an illegal cinder block sweat lodge of a recording studio, their goal is achieved.
Sweat - Main Mix:
Looking to dance music’s jackin’ past for inspiration, Juiceboxxx and Dre Skull have created
the definitive rappin’ house anthem for 2007 and beyond. Created in a climate that mirrors that of an
overheated club, this is music for those who like their piano vamps uplifting, their sirens screaming,
and their singing robots on drugs. This is for that unreal night where everything felt just right. Some
journeys are timeless and sometimes a track is a journey. “Sweat” is definitely a journey - a mini-trip
to the best night of your life every time the needle drops to the record.
Sweat - DJ Technics Remix:
Baltimore’s world famous DJ Technics showcases his production chops taking banging club music on a smoothed out ride. Equally suited for VIP rooms or dank basements, this track is Baltimore House at its finest.
Sweat - XXXChange Remix:
Up next Spank Rock’s XXXChange comes through with a mix straight outta space. This sounds like driving a Lamborghini Diablo real slow through a moon lit desert, one hand on the leather-bound steering wheel, the other ashing a thinly rolled marijuana cigarette out the window, ashen embers trailing behind...
Sweat - Dre Skull’s Dusted Bass Mix:
Rounding out the remix work is Dre Skull himself with a sick street beat edit that combines the
elements of early evening Miami 808 funk with a dusted-"I awake to the sounds of taxi repair work"-
Brooklyn bounce. USA Is A Monster’s Colin Langenus contributes ripping guitar work embodying the beast that is city life at sunset.
With this release, Juiceboxxx and Dre Skull are taking their explosive mix of dance music on
the road and to the people, turning it up to 11 in packed dance clubs around the world. |
